and/or the program(s) it describes.
REQUIREMENTS
Any Amiga® (compatible) computer with at least OS2.04.
DESCRIPTION
AddBuffers V38 replaces the original AmigaDOS AddBuffers
V37 command from Commodore. This version supports pattern-
matching, so that you can add extra buffers to several
devices by just one call. If a device is not present, no
requester will come up (in opposite to the original one).
INSTALLATION AND START
To install it, simply copy AddBuffers to your C: directory.
Since it is cli command, you can only start it from a shell
process. The following options are provided:
DRIVE: the name(s) of the device(s) to add extra buffers to.
BUFFERS: number of buffers to add. Negative values will reduce
the current amount of buffers. If you don't specify
this option, the current buffer count is shown instead.
QUIET: no output (as AddBuffers >NIL:)
Examples:
AddBuffers df?: 20
Adds 20 buffers to all dfx: drives (df0:, df1:, ...)
AddBuffers (dh0:|df?:)
Shows the current buffer count of dh0:, df0:, dfx:, ...
